Mark is a Master Duct Tape Marketing Certified Consultant, a trusted business advisor, and a co-author of the Amazon bestseller, The Small Business Owner’s Guide to Local Lead Generation (2015).

He is a graduate of Georgetown University and earned his MBA at the University of Arkansas – Little Rock and has spent the years since working in sales and marketing for businesses both large and small. Mark worked at Acxiom for more than 11 years in various sales and marketing roles, including Product Leader, Marketing Group Leader, and Vice President of Sales Support.  He also has extensive sales and marketing experience in the wireless carrier, wireless application development, and geographic data and software industries. In addition, he has taught as a marketing instructor at the University of Arkansas – Little Rock.

In March 2014, Mark began pursuing a long-time dream full-time and opened his firm, Fortune Marketing, with the goal of working with small businesses to help them grow and prosper. As the son of a small business owner, he grew up seeing the challenges small business owners face every day from competitive pressure and time constraints. Mark believes that the challenges in small business sales and marketing are not insurmountable; they can be met with a disciplined and focused approach. He believes that the technology and media landscape today make it easier than ever before for a small business to compete and win against large corporate competitors. Mark particularly enjoys working with small businesses because results are easiest to see, and it’s easier to adjust marketing strategies for small businesses without having to navigate multiple layers of bureaucracy.

Mark has lived and worked in Little Rock, Arkansas for more than 20 years.
